Alumni Spotlight

Andrea Kitchen graduated from UCLA in 2014 with a minor in Community Engagement and Social Change (formerly the Civic Engagement Minor). She serves on the Center for Community Engagement’s Community Partners Council, advising on the Center’s work and supporting the development of reciprocal partnerships between faculty, students, and community organizations.

As Director of Community Impact at the nonprofit A Sense of Home, Andrea helps secure funding that supports the organization’s mission to prevent homelessness by creating stable homes and an ongoing community of care for displaced individuals and families.
